چکیده

Cellulose nanocrystals (CNCs) were first isolated from microcrystalline cellulose (MCC) by p-toluene sulfonic acid (p-TsOH) hydrolysis. II nanocrystal (CNC II) and III III) then formed swelling the obtained I I) in concentrated sodium hydroxide solutions ethylenediamine (EDA) respectively. The properties of CNC I, subjected to comprehensive characterization Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM), transmission microscopy (TEM), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). results indicated that this research had high crystallinity index good thermal stability. degradation temperatures resulted 300 °C, 275 °C 242 No ester bonds found resulting CNCs. CNCs prepared also large aspect ratio negative zeta potential.

Microcrystalline-Cellulose Hydrolysis with Concentrated Sulphuric Acid

The effects of temperature (25-40°C), H,SO, concentration (31-70% (w/v)) and the acid/substrate relationship (1-5 cm3 of H,SO, per g-' of cellulose) on the solubilization rate of microcrystalline cellulose and on the glucose production rate have been analysed. The solubilization process was by determining reducing groups present in solution. For acid/substrate relationships of more than 1 cm3 g...

All-Cellulose Composite Fibers Obtained by Electrospinning Dispersions of Cellulose Acetate and Cellulose Nanocrystals

All-cellulose composite fibers were produced by electrospinning dispersions containing cellulose acetate (CA) and cellulose nanocrystals (CNCs). Precursor polymer matrices were obtained after dispersion of CA with different degrees of substitution in a binary mixture of organic solvents. The obtained fibers of CA loaded with CNCs had typical widths in the nanoand micro-scale and presented a gla...

Chemical doping of MoS2 multilayer by p-toluene sulfonic acid

We report the tailoring of the electrical properties of mechanically exfoliated multilayer (ML) molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) by chemical doping. Electrical charge transport and Raman spectroscopy measurements revealed that the p-toluene sulfonic acid (PTSA) imposes n-doping in ML MoS2. The shift of threshold voltage for ML MoS2 transistor was analyzed as a function of reaction time. The threshol...
